WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR COUNSELORS?
ALL ADULTS, 18+ years, on campus must complete the online Adult Registration Form, have an updated Background Check, complete the Child Protection Training Course, and show the Training Course test and certificate.
WHAT CAN WE WEAR?
Wear play clothes. All shorts must be below mid-thigh and shirts must have a three-finger width sleeve. No low cut muscle shirts for guys. No mid-drifts showing. No spaghetti straps or halter tops.
CAN WE HAVE VISITORS COME TO THE CAMP FOR A DAY?
No, visitors are not allowed on campus without a paid registration, Child Protective Training Certificate, and completed background check before arriving on campus. NO EXCEPTIONS.
WHAT IF A STUDENT GETS SICK AT CAMP?
If a camper is running fever or throws up at camp, the nurse will administer meds and notify the parent/guardian. If symptoms do not subside then the parent/guardian will be required to come pick up their child. If the child is symptom free for 24 hours, they may return to camp and check in with the nurse. Please check your camper(s) for head lice before leaving for camp. If lice are found at camp, the nurse will notify the Camp Director and the Head Counselor from your church. The parent/guardian will be called and must pick up their child and their belongings. If a child is sent home for any reason (illness, homesick, discipline, etc.) there is NO REFUND.
